Who You Are:
You love working with children and are eager to begin your formal career! Maybe working with children is second-nature to you, or maybe you hope to learn with an experienced mentor. Either way, you are always up for a challenge and your middle name is “how can I help?” You see this role as a stepping stone to your future teaching dream and know that we are the right place to hone your craft. We will provide the successful candidate with internal training and development in order to promote into a teaching position after one year.
You enjoy working with children of all ages and are a reliable source of reliable. Did we mention that you are reliable? We will count on your support with projects, special events and implementing our emergent curriculum alongside a supportive team. We will count on you to be present and willing to learn and grow along with us. We use technology to communicate with families, and the ability to use Google apps and perform basic tasks such as typing, taking pictures, and entering information on a tablet is required.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Enrolled in the State of Oregon’s Central Background Registry by start date.
- Certification in Infant/Child CPR and First Aid before start date
