Checks daily paint jigs cleaning schedule provided by Supervisor and is responsible for daily equipment set up.
Repairs broken or bent painting fixtures, by either re-welding, replacing elements or bending back into shape and repairs fixture spindles when nuts and bolts are worn
Performs Paint Jigs cleaning processes such as Burn Off Oven, Dip Tank, Power Washing and Blasting.
Monitors and ensures that the established periodic paint fixtures cleaning/maintenance program is executed on time to make sure that the paint lines are always running with clean and verified-to-master fixtures.
Completes all required paperwork and reports accurately (Paint Jigs Inventory, Chemical and Hazardous Waste Inventory).
Must be physically capable of lifting and carrying heavy materials up to 40 pounds on a frequent basis.
Required ability to stand for 8 hours
Background or experience in mechanical/industrial equipment maintenance
Experience in metal fabrication and welding
High school diploma or equivalent required
Prior Equipment Maintenance/Welding
