Job Description

Coastal Pet Sitting is an established and well-loved pet sitting company seeking exceptional pet care providers to add to our staff.

The ideal candidate has the following qualities:

*animal lover

*has owned animals

*has a reliable car

*responds to texts in a timely manner

*is a problem-solver, low drama

*can adapt to a flexible , ever changing schedule

*healthy, able to work a busy, physically active schedule

*can commit to at least a year's employment

*can work 3 or 4 of the major holidays

Compensation is based on a percentage. Pet care providers receive 60% of each job performed. Jobs range in price from $27-$28/ half hour visit. Motivated workers can earn from $700-$1000 per week.

Due to travelling demands, all applicants must live in the immediate Exeter/Fremont/Kingston area.

Hours of operation are 7am to 9pm 7 days a week. Full-time providers work a 4 day work week plus every other weekend.

Responsibilities include:

*walking/playing with dogs

*feeding/fresh water/medication administration

*light housekeeping/litter box cleaning

*communicating with clients

*watering plants

*collecting mail

Coastal Pet Sitting has been serving the seacoast area since 2005. We are insured and bonded and registered with the state of NH as a legal business. We take care of pets in their homes cutting down on stress, injury and communicable diseases. As a veterinary technician with over 18 years of experience, I worked this business solely for for the first 8 years. The work became too much for 1 person, so I began my journey of hiring and having employees. Each pet sitter is treated with respect and encouraged to ask questions and offer input. While the work is enjoyable and rewarding it is definitely more than walking dogs and petting cats. Attention to detail and client communication is VERY IMPORTANT in order to be a successful employee and animal care provider.
