Job Description: OMB NO: 1625-0120 Expiration Date: 10/31/2021 Announcement #: 3427 Opening Date: 22 January 2020 Pay Plan/Series/Pay Band: NF-1702-02 Closing Date: Until Filled Work Schedule:Temporary -Part Time (20-29 hrs/wk) Position: E-Commerce Production Technician NTE 90 days (Potential to Become Permanent) Who May Apply: All Sources Location: Chesapeake, VA HQ Salary: $10.00 DUTIES: Assist ecommerce team with online item set up and merchandising initiatives. Utilizes product catalog web application to build on-line category and product groupings as directed by merchants and marketing initiatives. Launches products to the site according to delivery dates and business needs. Maximizes business by brand by style by managing brand and product presentation online and ultimately driving top line sales and profitability. Executes daily item setup, product categorization, item ranking, site merchandising. Assist in managing all product content and images on Responsible for merchandising brands, products and categories on Has responsibility for designated online department merchandising objectives for Assists in all aspects of the merchandising item web content by creating effective online assortments, influencing product set up. Assists in achieving optimal category and product merchandising on within the shopping filters and shops that reflect product priorities. Assist production team in positioning and optimizing top sellers and new products across all e-Commerce partners. Works under the general supervision of the E-Commerce Production Manager. Operates independently within the framework of CSC/CGX policies, procedures, and regulations. Exercises independent judgment and approach in routine and non-routine situations. Consults with supervisor on such issues as policy matters, deviations from normal procedures or unusual situations. Maintains professionalism and courteous behavior at all times, works as a team player, and provides excellent customer service to internal and external customers. Performance is evaluated on operational performance, skills evaluations, customer service, collaboration and teamwork, leadership and established individual performance objectives. Assists merchants, customer support and warehouse operations to resolve operational issues. Represent the online business to merchant team, communicating the unique business needs for online to achieve a multi-channel merchandising vision. Performs other related duties as assigned Your resume/application will be screened on the qualifications listed below. QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:Minimum: 1. High School diploma or GED 1. Experience in data entry 2. Proficient in MS Office tools such as Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc. 3. Strong interpersonal and communication skills 4. Ability to work in fast-paced environment; flexible to accommodate demanding project schedules Preferred (in addition to the minimum): 1. One-year experience in retail merchandising, ecommerce or demonstrated proficiency working with digital applications 2. Two years of college coursework or Associate’s degree in related field.
