Software Engineer IV

CoSolutions is hiring for an experienced Software Engineer in a Senior position for one of our distinguished contracts at our Indian Head, MD location.

This is a challenging opportunity for an intelligence IT professional to join a high-performance team developing and administering leading edge software systems.

The position is in support of the Collection Requirements Analysis Tool for the Enterprise (CRATE), which enables users throughout the Intelligence Community to quickly research and identify collection requirements from an All-Source perspective. CRATE comprises a set of web-based tools that query metadata from numerous applications on multiple domains across the Enterprise.

We are seeking a candidate with diverse IT and software development expertise. The ideal candidate will have broad software development expertise in a classified environment and be familiar with network security protocols and administration. Candidate must be familiar with DoD cyber security processes, including differences and criteria that distinguish the various security domains. Candidate must be able to work onsite, remote support is not available.

Required Qualifications:

• US citizenship and an Active TS/SCI Clearance. Candidate must also successfully complete a CI Polygraph.

• Experience: JavaScript (JQuery), Java, C++, Linux (CentOS, RHEL), PostgreSQL, ElasticSearch

• Must have the ability to work independently and in a team environment

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience with PHP highly desired

• Experience with Oracle Database

• Experience with Docker, Ansible, KeyCloak, Leaflet, ArcGIS

• Understanding of and experience with network administration and security protocols on various domains

• Experience with Joint Intelligence Operations Command (JIOC) applications and/or intelligence data

• Experience within the DIA (Defense Intelligence Agency) or other DoD security domains highly desired

  Required Education:

• Requires Bachelor's degree with 8 years of experience, MS with 6 years, PhD with 2 years. Additional experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
