Chief Financial Officer

Clover Food Lab is a fast casual restaurant group with one audacious goal - to make vegetables so irresistible that millions are inspired to reduce their meat consumption, resulting in a reversal of global warming. We currently operate 15 restaurants in the Boston area, a Commissary Kitchen in Cambridge, a local Meal-Box delivery program, and we have an aggressive plan to keep growing!

We are seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) who will provide leadership and direction to our Accounting and Finance team. This role will be responsible for the financial processes and reporting and ensure the accounting and finance functions supports and facilitates the company's growth goals. This is a full-time salaried position reporting to the Founder & CEO.

Interested in MA candidates only who can commute to the Boston/Cambridge area regularly.

Duties
The Chief Financial Officer is required to:

• Partner with the Founder & CEO on the development of the company's strategic plans
• Retain constant awareness of the company's financial position
• Manage a high-performing accounting and finance team
• Other duties, as assigned

Requirements

The Chief Financial Officer must have:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
• Master's Degree preferred
• Accounting designation (CMA, CGA, or CA), or an equivalent combination of related experience and education
• Experience in a senior accounting or financial management role
• Experience in food/restaurants preferred
• Strong leadership skills, focusing on technical and strategic approaches throughout the company
• Exceptional business and financial acumen
• Comfort with a rapid and dynamic working environment where no day may be the same
• Impeccable analytical and organizational skills
• A passion for food and a positive attitude
• Self-motivated and self-directed
