Informix Developer

We are seeking an Informix Developer for a remote contract opportunity.  This role will start off as a 6 month contract with a strong chance to extend long term.  This role can work remotely from anywhere within the U.S.  Due to the projects being supported and sensitive data, there will be an extended background check required.  

In this role, you will be responsibile for:

• Code Analysis Walk through code investigate impact of decommissioning tables
• Code Maintenance
• Data Structure 
• Operational Maintenance support
• Data fixes

Required Work Experience

• Minimum 4 years of experience with Informix 4GL applications development
• Minimum 4 years experience with Informix Structured Query Language (SQL)
• Minimum 4 years experience with Relational databases and table design / creation
• Minimum 4 years  experience writing Informix stored procedures, triggers, cursors, and views

Preferred Experience

• Experience with Agile teams and development methods
• Oracle database and development experience may be substituted for Informix experience on a year for year basis
• Automation of work processes using a Cron file
• Sun / Solaris mainframe experience
• Experience with creating UNIX/Linux shell scripts (ksh)
