Job Description We are seeking a Marketing Brand Manager for a 12-month part-time contract. This role can work remotely from anywhere within the U.S and will work for 20 hours per week. in this role, you will manage the development and maintenance of branded names and work with individual portfolio managers and other stakeholders to develop brand-compliant descriptive names that resonate with target customers. You will support a multi-layered hierarchical company so this role requires managing agreement across multiple stakeholders and organizations often within tight timelines. Additional responsibilities include: Identify and educate stakeholders on Hitachi’s descriptive naming convention and best practices, including the naming process, timelines, and costs. Educating and working with individual portfolio managers to understand their respective roadmaps · Facilitate brand and legal review of candidate names. Develop advocates at all levels (Senior executives to lower-level managers, product management, technical publications, Web operations). Develop and maintain a process for new naming requests. Populate and maintain a master list of approved names and trademarks. Maintain a respectful collaborative relationship with single-point-of-contact within the organization Act in an advisory role for content providers and editors on the use of approved names and trademarks for externally facing deliverables. Tracking and reporting all naming requests, fulfillment, and Trademarks.
