Title: Account/Project Manager

Location: Lithia Springs, GA

Hours: M-F 8-5 PM

Compensation: $50-60K

DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking an Account/Project Manager to join their growing team. The Account/Project Manager will be responsible for cradle to grave account & project management post sales, working directly with the sales team to execute on post-sales activities, including named account management. There is one other resource serving in this capacity, and the successful candidate will be partnered with the existing resource.

The Account/Project Manager is responsible for daily support of Key accounts and for a successful execution of project related activities such as planning and creating strategies to ensure that the projects are completed successfully.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

- Managing projects and assisting Sales with key accounts.

- Acts as liaison between the business unit and customer to provide quotes, purchase materials, and submit purchase orders for manufacturing.

- Assists the Sales Management Leader and clients to ensure satisfaction and support.

- Efficiently make use of the project management software and applications for proficient work scheduling.

- Consult with contractors, regarding project details to help coordinate required materials, and job cost analysis.

- Be active in the research and development of the project and complete the work with the least expense.

- Prepare reports, create, or assist in presentations to ensure projects are completed within deadlines using standard measures.

- Production reporting (daily, weekly, and monthly)

- Inter- department coordination

- Project scheduling, planning and problem solving by coordinating with all stakeholders and project control

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

- Proficiency in MS Office -- Excel, Word and Outlook required

- Math – understanding and computations of fractions

- Ability to learn quickly and work productively as a team member

- Experience in reading and interpreting, drawing and sketches

- Knowledge in all types of glass and glass fabrication processes

- Effective communication skills; both written and verbal.

- Strong interpersonal skills for interacting with both customer and various department personnel

- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and complete tasks with minimal supervision

- Ability to learn quickly and work productively as a team member

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree preferred

Four years of equivalent work experience in an Account / Project Management position
