Licensed Veterinary Technician – Full time position

We are a busy, fast-paced, companion pet veterinary hospital in Simpsonville, South Carolina looking to hire a compassionate licensed veterinary technician to add to our staff. We are a full-service hospital offering quality veterinary care, boarding, and grooming services. We strive to provide excellent care to our patients, and provide a positive experience for our clients.

We offer wellness and sick patient visits for dogs and cats; soft tissue surgery, orthopedic surgery, dental prophy’s, digital radiographs, ultrasound, laser therapy, in-house and outsourced laboratory services.

Requirements – Associates or Bachelors degree in Veterinary Technology from accredited program. The veterinary technician must be compassionate, patient, and have a positive attitude. .

Job description – Must have a broad knowledge of animal science, medicine, and husbandry, including a basic knowledge of pharmacology and sufficient mathematical skills to ensure the administration of accurate drug and fluid doses. The veterinary technician must be able to pay attention to detail, respond quickly and calmly to crisis and maintain very high standards of patient care. In addition, the veterinary technician must be able to communicate well with co-workers and clients, showing care and concern for their pets
