The right candidate will bring experience in sales management and scaling of third-party sales partners. Candidates will identify partners who can sell in a quality manner on behalf of CleanChoice. The Sales Manager will onboard new vendors to assist CleanChoice in signing up customers for residential electricity service, community solar and other clean energy products.
This entails ongoing cycles of goal setting, territory allocation, weekly production reviews, partner quality reviews, and oversight of correct invoicing. Some travel is required. TheVendor Sales Manager will report to the VP of Sales. Key Accountabilities: Manage sales teams including partners to meet sales goals for all CleanChoice Energy products Ensure teams are ready to execute on assigned goals Partner with Marketing, Legal, Operations and Sales Support teams to ensure efficient sales flows and identify process improvements Oversee quality of sales team performance in conjunction with Quality Assurance and Legal team members Manage multiple budgets simultaneously and improve cost efficiencies where applicable Responsibilities and Duties: Identify prospective partners and determine alignment with CleanChoice goals Ensure new partners are onboarded in a timely fashion Work with the Marketing Team to determine portfolio priorities Assign territories to partners based on needs of CleanChoice and abilities of partners Manage day-to-day needs and questions of partners and field sales agents Interact with team, managing order entry flows Assist in managing, improving and implementing new training Manage partner invoicing process Maintain overall relationship with partners Skills and Qualifications: Undergraduate degree from 4-year university in Business Management, Marketing or another relevant curriculum. Sales management experience with proven sales and relationship building skills. Strong communication (written and verbal) Dynamic interpersonal skills Understanding of the retail electric and community solar markets (preferred) Attention to detail: ability to think strategically and quantitatively.
