Job Description

General Purpose:

Under the direction of the Facility Manager, this position will perform tasks to prepare electronics for resale including technical testing, data erasure, tracking and inventory management.

Primary Responsibilities (Essential Functions):

  • Diagnose, test, and repair material to working condition and R2 standards in a production-based setting, including computers, servers, phones, LCDs, and switches
  • Asset manage material information into the material tracking system (CycleLutions)
  • Tag all material that is tested and maintain accurate records of material
  • Securely wipe hard drives using data destruction software
  • Track and manage IT hardware assets and generate asset management reports for clients
  • Travel to customer locations and perform asset recovery and material loading
  • Assure compliance with all applicable environmental, health & safety, and R2 regulations
Qualifications

Basic Required Qualifications: 

  • High School Diploma or GED required

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associates or Bachelor’s degree in the Information Technology field
  • Working knowledge of all components of a computer

In this role, you’ll be working in both office and processing environment, indoors and out.  You’ll be in proximity to moving vehicles, electrical current, and various chemicals which will require the use of company-provided personal protective equipment (Tyvek coveralls, goggles, respirator, etc.). You must be willing and able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds throughout the workday
