The Records Clerk is responsible for performing audits on maintenance records and other documents related to the Maintenance Department, daily data entry, and maintaining engine and aircraft records with a high level of accuracy necessary to keep aircraft maintenance running efficiently. The Records Clerk shall follow details of inspection standards, methods and procedures used by the 135 Repair Station in complying with all applicable FAA regulations and manufacturer’s specifications and recommendations.
o Provide Maintenance with Up-to-Date scheduled aircraft maintenance, periodic inspections and component reports
o Accurately track installed Life Limited Components and inspection intervals
o Maintain engine logbooks and associated aircraft records
o Manage aircraft logbooks
o Notify Director of Maintenance, Inspectors, and mechanics when components, system, and aircraft approach date/time for inspection/TBO
o Verify, issue, and track all Technical Directives
o Must be able to thoroughly review, monitor, research, interpret, and cross reference aircraft documentation to ensure all requirements have been accomplished.
o Remove and replace on condition and time controlled components
o Attain proficiency using our maintenance tracking software
o Perform additional duties as assigned
Knowledge and Skills:
o Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
o Ability to follow verbal and written instruction
o Ability to learn industry specific programs
o Strong ability to multi-task efficiently
o Ability to type thirty-five (35) words per minute
o Ability to work in a team environment
Experience and Education:
o High School Diploma or GED
o 1 Year Clerical
o Aviation Experience highly desired
