Busy paralegal firm is in need of a professional and efficient records acquisitions assistant, six-eight hours a day, Monday through Friday. Daily start and end time to be determined by qualified applicant. (Business hours are 7am to 5pm).
Applicants must have an acute attention to detail, strong organizational skills, flexible with policy changes as needed, good interpersonal communication skills, ability to communicate effectively over the phone, self directed in managing workflow but also able to respond well to instruction.
This position requires knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Adobe Acrobat, basic computer skills and other common office technology. Training provided and ongoing as needed.
Job duties include, but are not limited to:
●Scanning, processing and posting incoming documents to electronic files
●Preparing medical records requests
●Ordering Medical records and bills
●Following up on requested medical records by phone, email, etc.
●Attending regularly scheduled department and company meetings
