CityVet Addison is seeking a talented Groomer/Pet Stylist to join our dynamic team!

CityVet provides complete pet care with a dog grooming, bathing, boarding, and day-play facility that serves an upscale clientele. CityVet provides all tables, shampoos, nail polish, bandannas, bows, scents, and basic consumable pet grooming supplies.

The ideal candidate will possess:

• Exceptional animal handling skills
• 2-5 years of diverse grooming/stylist experience
• Ability to groom 30-40 animals per week
• A well rounded understanding of dogs and cats and the grooming process, including breed specific cuts, personality traits, clip styles and properly handle and restrain the various dog breeds
• Excellent finishing techniques with a primary emphasis on hand scissoring
• Ability to communicate with clients and salon members to achieve requested services in the prescribed time-frame
• A patient and caring demeanor during the grooming process, while managing time in a high volume environment

Job Specific Requirements:

• Work Saturdays
• 4-5 day work week schedule
