Putting people first

An IT Team Coordinator is a technically minded project coordinator and IT team support specialist that utilizes successful organization techniques to manage multiple IT projects simultaneously, supporting current clinics and help facilitate and support CityVet expansion and growth.

It is the responsibility of the IT Specialist to work with members of the Technology Team, Vendors, interdepartmental connections, and the IT Leadership to find solutions for technology related problems, questions, and inquiries. The IT Specialist will have a large impact on the overall goals and agendas of day-to-day technology operations, as well as growth and development initiatives.

Essential qualifications:
  • 3+ years' experience working with technology and project management
  • Very strong spreadsheet, documentation and project management organization skills including relaying information and coordinating efforts
  • Natural ability to communicate with other team members and ability to speak on behalf of the IT department to other departments and vendors of multiple projects at a time while helping hold team members accountable for crucial time sensitive tasks and agendas.


A day in the life:
  • Provides in-person, over the phone and virtual organization and project updates to all members of the IT department as well as other home office members and vendors that support and install for the IT department.
  • Organizing the deployment and team efforts of new CityVet locations and renovation projects (travel outside Dallas and Fort Worth may be required)
  • Keeping weekly on projects and the status and completion goals of those projects while relaying challenges and solving issues that arise to ensure the projects stay on target.
