POSITION DESCRIPTION: The content marketing manager is responsible for bringing CCL’s content strategy to life - by collecting needs, managing production and deploying content across platforms. Specifically, the content marketing manager will:

  • Develop and manage a content creation plan that meets the strategic goals of CCL and its stakeholders.

  • Meet regularly with key audience stakeholders across CCL to understand their content needs, and work those in as requested to the content plan, including CCL’s communications, volunteer training, conservative, inclusion, higher ed and youth teams.

  • Work as a project manager with videographers, designers and writers to produce content that will be used on CCL’s websites, social media, and by CCL’s volunteers throughout their experience. Content will include videos, webpages, presentations, graphics, infographics, whitepapers, and more.

  • Work with CCL’s Spanish language team to ensure that appropriate content is translated into Spanish.

  • Develop and maintain a system of organization for CCL’s marketing content. Act as an air traffic controller, making sure that content is created in the correct formats, sizes, and languages and is delivered to the correct places.

  • Bring a numbers-focused approach to your work, including concrete goals, KPIs and analytic measurement.

  • Work directly in WordPress, social media scheduling, and email scheduling tool directly as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3-5 years of experience managing content production. Channel specific knowledge (eg. social media.)

  • Demonstrated ability to create and manage a content plan and calendar.

  • Organized and detail oriented.

  • Ability to grasp a brand, and work within brand and messaging guidelines.

  • Comfort with CMS and social media tools.

  • Experience with analytic and testing platforms like Google Analytics, Hotjar, and Optimizely

  • Ability to work well cross functionally and juggle many priorities at once.

  • Working knowledge of search engine optimization is a plus.

  • Good copywriting skills a plus

  • Must be eligible to work in the United States.

  • Access to a computer with camera, phone and reliable internet required.

COMPENSATION: Salary ranges from $65,000 to $70,000 based on experience. Benefits for a full-time position include health insurance (eligibility after a 30-day wait period), dental and vision insurance, and a 401K retirement plan. Two weeks vacation will be accrued during the first year of employment. An additional week of vacation is accrued after one year of employment with CCL.
