Conservative Outreach Coordinator. **REMOTE**

POSITION OVERVIEW & PURPOSE: The Conservative Outreach Coordinator will assist in recruiting, activating and retaining right of center volunteers across the US, with extra attention to strategic locations and younger conservatives. This will include building and supporting state-level teams of right-of-center CCE volunteers, as well as individual volunteer mentoring and training.

POSITION REPORTS TO: Conservative Outreach Director

SCHEDULE & LOCATION: Work hours are flexible and will include some evening hours to participate in evening team calls. The position will be a remote work location with meetings using internet applications. The successful applicant will provide their own workspace, computer, internet connection and mobile phone.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

• Support, train and mentor new and existing Conservative State Leads (volunteer CCE supporters leading conservative state teams)

• Evaluate and expand CCE’s onboarding process for new supporters who are conservative

• Identify and support right-of-center volunteers in deepening their engagement.

• Expand the outreach by CCE Supporters to conservatives across the US

• Assist the Director with outreach and relationship building with right-of-center organizations and organizing events as needed.

• Some travel required when safe traveling can be resumed for training in Washington DC & Regional Conferences

• Prepare reports and data summaries on CCE’s conservative outreach. Other duties as needed or required

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience coordinating teams or working in team settings

• Demonstrated ability communicating and working with conservative audiences and volunteers.

• Knowledge of carbon pricing policy to mitigate greenhouse gas emissions

• Solid computer skills required

• Minimum bachelor’s degree required

• Deal with confidential information and issues using discretion and judgment

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience working with Republican or conservative organizations and leaders

• Experience communicating with a network or large team of people

• Experience working with young conservatives is a plus.

• Experience with digital communication tools and running mailing lists is a plus. Salesforce experience is a plus.
