Citizens is a leader in the Point of Sale market and is experiencing rapid growth, partnering with leaders including Apple, Microsoft, Amazon, and ADT. This role will be responsible for architecting and building our point of sale product set to deliver on the next phase of growth for the business. This will enable strategies that power our merchant partners' sales and loyalty with their customer base while providing them with a comprehensive capability that enables omni-channel point of sale experiences. It will also enable Citizens to build direct to consumer payment products that deepen relationships with Citizens' customers acquired through multiple channels.

Key responsibilities for this role include:
Architect, manage, and optimize our core line of credit and installment lending platform to ensure it is leveraged in a common and scalable way across partners; continuously improve platform effectiveness and efficiencies across all modules, identifying opportunities to improve customer experience, cost, and control
Oversee product capabilities and modules, including hosted applications, interfaces and APIs, virtual card and ACH settlement and payment processes, digital servicing, credit engine, and communications capabilities
Identify gaps in platform and solutions to fill gaps and opportunities to drive further differentiation in the platform, through either internal development or partnership with FinTechs/partners
Solution with merchants to identify product(s), configurations and capabilities to bring to bear for specific partner needs while leveraging core components of the platform
Lead end-to-end development of new consumer installment lending/payments value proposition linked to merchant point of sale experience, allowing Citizens to build primary relationships with national customer base
Oversee execution of projects and BAU maintenance of platform; this will require partnering with change management function for prioritization and then owning execution through project management by directing internal engineering and digital teams and overseeing development and configuration changes by vendors
Open to discussing other locations.
Strong "technologist" mindset and technical understanding of lending, payment and authorization models, APIs/interface design, communications, and digital servicing technologies
Experience leading product/platform management in a modern operating model - work in agile ways, direct pod of cross-functional resources around execution, maniacal focus on customer-based design
Strong external orientation with passion for new technologies and solutions
Ability to quickly translate business and partner needs into solutions and ultimately detailed product design requirements to provide to engineering teams for development
Ability to travel for meeting new partners to support in product and technical solution/sales
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required, MBA preferred.

Work Schedule: M-F 8-5
