IFC Service Assistant

The Sales Support Representative is an entry level position responsible for participating in a range of sales support activities including analysis of sales outcomes, opportunities and the creation of proposals in coordination with the Consumer Sales team. The overall objective of this role is to assist in providing a full range of support services to sales people and client segments.
Responsibilities:

  • Review and validate customer requisitions
  • Resolve written and telephone inquiries regarding customer accounts
  • Utilize information from customer calls to discover the root cause and account type of issues; select the best course of action from a broad array of defined options
  • Assist sales executives in back-office and administrative tasks
  • Perform account maintenance activities, create memos, and update account holder information
  • Provide customers with explanations of programs, benefits, and policies
  • Process daily forms, letters, and reports
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications:
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience
  • Sales support experience preferred
  • Basic knowledge of Citi and its policies
  • Proven technical/administrative expertise
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
Education:
  • High School diploma or equivalent
