IT Procurement Specialist

We are undergoing a significate transformation as we integrate many distinct business units and products into a more cohesive eco-system. As a result, we are building up new Corp IT solutions to meet the needs of business and users. As the IT Procurement Specialist, you will help to engage new and existing vendors, drive negotiation of contracts and agreements, and help to build and execute a new IT procurement process.

Responsibilities:

• Management of activities and processes in the IT Procurement function.
• Prepare RFI's and RFPs based on stakeholder and company requirements.
• Negotiate and review contract terms with suppliers, such as cost, payment terms, SLAs. Manage contract renewals.
• Establish and manage relationships with key suppliers.
• Responsible for contract metrics as well as supplier performance and cost savings metrics. Continuously evaluate vendor landscape to identify spend efficiency and optimization opportunities.
• Partner with internal and external stakeholders to create and update policies and governance across strategic sourcing & corporate services. Ensure alignment to company's culture and best industry practices.

Requirements:

• Strong verbal, written communication, and collaboration skills
• Ability to plan and drive progress and procurement projects.
• Demonstrated vendor negotiation skills that that to most favorable terms and cost to the company.
• Detail oriented and ability the prioritize and multi-tasking.
• Good understanding of IT technology and vendor landscape.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment.
