Cirrus Partners is looking for a motivated IT Systems Manager, experienced in the management of devices from the Apple platform. We're looking for people passionate about what they do, people who take initiative and have excellent communication skills to join our energetic and dynamic team.
This candidate for our IT Systems Manager is a motivated, detail oriented individual willing to take initiative while taking ownership of system management, project development and resolving technical issues by leveraging established processes. This candidate will ensure all newly discovered system technical issues are thoroughly documented for our technical team. Candidate must be living in the Madison, WI area or willing to locate to Madison.
Required Skills and Experience

Manage internal and external, business-critical infrastructure
Research, tests, and implements new and existing technologies
Oversee the engineering and maintenance of core platforms for Cirrus’ managed services
Identify, solve, and document software-related issues within infrastructure
Write technical documentation relevant to all roles, as well as customer-facing documentation
Write and maintain code related to infrastructure and workstation configuration within Cirrus’ toolsets
Review and address escalated Level 2 & 3 help desk tickets
Create documentation of issue resolutions and system management to assist future technicians
Experience or knowledge in both macOS and iOS deployment and troubleshooting
Basic knowledge of Windows operating systems including servers
Ability to properly diagnose problems and implement solutions, initiate vendor support contact when necessary and research specific issues as they arise
Timely and effective client follow through with attention to detail is critical, including the ability to handle multiple projects at the same time
Proven competence in task management, documentation creation and the ability to contribute to an open, collaborative environment
Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail and consistent follow through ensuring proper project development and execution
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to work independently and efficiently exercising good judgement and initiative while under deadlines
Excellent English language verbal and written communication skills. This position requires consistently clear and accurate communication.
Reliable transportation for travel within the upper Midwest is required
Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field and 3 years experience in IT support, systems/network deployment with a solid understanding of the use of technology within business environments.
Competency working with Bash shell and Python
Experienced in Windows operating systems and Microsoft-related software.
Experience with Zendesk or other help desk systems.
Experience troubleshooting standard business applications from Microsoft, Adobe and Google.

Physical Demands and Working Conditions
Work from home and on-site at client’s offices.
Requires flexibility, including availability to work outside a Monday - Friday 8:00 - 5:00 pm schedule as needed.
