Come join us! Cirris Inc, a leading manufacturer of electrical cable and harness test equipment, has an immediate opening for a Direct Sales Representative

This role serves the Southeast United States and is responsible for developing and maintaining a broad scope of new and existing customers within the cable assembly/wire harness and general electronics industries to increase sales of products.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Meeting or exceeding weekly, monthly and yearly sales quotas
  • Canvassing assigned territories to present company products to potential customers
  • Recommend service and product enhancement to improve the sales potential and customer satisfaction
  • Maintain technical and professional knowledge by reviewing professional publications, participating in professional societies and establishing personal networks
  • Meet with customers to discuss their evolving needs and to assess the quality of the company's relationship with them
  • Demonstrate and sell semi-technical products to a wide range of customers.
  • Prepare and present quotes for products and services.
  • Answer incoming phone calls and other electronic communications from customers while carrying out other job duties.
  • Provide technical and general support to customers and distributors.
  • Travel to domestic customer sites and tradeshows approximately 40% of the time.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree in Sales, Business Administration, or relevant field
  • Proven work experience as a Regional Sales Manager or similar senior sales role
  • Familiarity with CRM software
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to travel as needed

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Physical demands: Regularly lift 35 pounds and use of hand and wrists when typing information on keyboard. Must be able to twist, reach overhead, crawl, stoop, and bend to the floor. Occasionally lift 50 pounds.
  • Visual accommodation: Must be able to read written materials and instructions to communicate with co-workers and customers.
  • Working conditions: Employee works in a clean environment with little exposure to fumes and dust. Work may occasionally be performed in a manufacturing type environment.
