Assistant Manager at Cinnaholic Concord

Cinnaholic Concord Mills, a vegan bakery, is seeking an Assistant Manager.  Candidate must have prior supervisory or lead experience in a food service environment.  Candidate will be required to learn all front and back-of-house operations and be able to proficiently carry out all store functions. This position will supervise a small team of employees and will report to the store proprietor.

Core job responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Continuously foster a safe and clean environment for staff & customers
• Opening and closing the store
• Ensure baked goods are consistently made to company recipe standards
• Management of all third party ordering platforms
• Supervision of store associates to ensure store cleanliness, quality of goods, and accuracy of orders
• Labor cost management & control
• Oversee training initiatives of store associates to meet company policies and standards
• Engage with customers as an ambassador of management to promote high service scores and return customers
• Assist proprietor with coaching & counseling of staff as appropriate
• Perform regular inventory assessment of all products.  Assist with timely replenishment
• Financial reconciliation and safeguard of daily store cash and deposits.

Requirements:

● Must be 18 years or older

● Must have reliable transportation

● Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

● Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

● Friendly attitude and team player who is able to work well with others

● Ability to prioritize and have a sense of urgency

● Customer-service driven

● Food service or bakery experience

Available shifts and compensation: We have available shifts all days of the week. Compensation is $13.00 - $15.00/hour.
