Title: Technical Project Manager
Pay Rate: $60-$70k/year, depending on experience
Hours: 8am-5pm, Mon-Friday
Location: Onsite in Beaverton, OR
Type: Direct Hire

VTM Group’s Engineering & Technical Services (ETS) group is seeking a Technical Project Manager to join our team. ETS provides a broad range of engineering services to our clients who are industry leading technical consortia and standards development organizations. About the Role
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Responsible for being the primary point of contact for one or more of our clients.
- Track project and task progress across clients.
- Evaluate needs of each client and fulfill those needs.
- This position includes individual and team contributions and will involve direct, outward facing interactions with both Clients and Member Companies.
About You
- Technical experience and/or background
- Ability to create procedures and processes that are easy to understand
- Familiarity with program management principles and tools; especially MS Project or LibreProject
- Comfortable leading groups and presenting technical topics in person or in virtual meetings; group size could range from 2-4 engineers to 100’s of people on a tradeshow floor
- Intermediate expertise in the MS Office Suite
- Self-motivated; must be able to identify and work on projects autonomously at Client direction.
- Ability to travel both domestic and internationally, up to 25%.
Experience with the following considered a plus:
- Intermediate knowledge of MS Project or LibreProject
- Intermediate (or better) capability writing MS Excel macros
- General familiarization with videography and/or video editing.
- Language proficiency in any of the following: Japanese, Chinese or Korean.
- Degree or minor in Communications studies
