Christy Catalytics, LLC [CATCO] is a globally active supplier of inert support media, tower packing and associated internals as well as a range of refractory shapes and materials to the global natural gas processing, petroleum refining, petrochemicals, chemicals and metallurgical markets. CATCO supplies to its client base in over 70 countries and counts as current clients some of the world’s largest companies including ExxonMobil, Saudi Aramco, Phillips 66, BASF and many more. CATCO is part of Christy Industrial Holdings which provides industrial and ceramic products and services to industry with customers in over 70 countries. The company’s roots date to its founding by the Christy family in 1922.
This Houston, Texas based individual will be responsible for the development and maintenance of assigned end user accounts in the U.S. and Canada. The majority of accounts assigned to this position will be ones where CATCO has had little to no previous contact. Therefore, the ability to develop new accounts [including significant levels of cold calling] is critical to this position’s success. CATCO has a support team available to support this individual’s effort both in terms of commercial [proposal preparation, marketing materials, order processing, etc.] as well as technical requirements. Once accounts are developed, it is the responsibility of this Account Manager to maintain these accounts and increase revenue opportunities. Primarily office based, up to 25% travel [primarily in the Gulf Coast region] may be required.
Education, Skills and Experience:
· B.A. or B.S. or higher degree preferred
· Relevant experience and/or a technical background or ability to quickly understand technical products and applications is desired in order to allow Account Manager to provide immediate contributions to CATCO’s expansion of its end user customer base.
· Develop and maintain strong relationships with all assigned accounts.
· Develop short to medium term strategic plans to maintain and grow assigned accounts.
· Achieve or surpass mutually agreed upon annual revenue goals for assigned accounts.
· Constantly assess the competitive landscape and report findings.
