CCPC is a Christian, humanitarian community resource center that helps improve the lives of people and communities through meeting immediate and basic needs, serving as a leading networker of community resources, offering counseling and care support, and giving hope to those we serve. Focusing primarily on the population centers of Summit and Wasatch counties, CCPC serves all people, regardless of race, religion, nationality, sexual orientation, ethnicity or gender. We require no membership, dues, or compliance with our faith traditions to be served by our programs and resources.

We are a 501c(3), non-profit organization that partners with other non-profits, government agencies, businesses, churches, interfaith councils and individuals in order to meet the needs of our community.

Primary Responsibility:
The Human Resources & Administration Manager role is responsible for coordinating the evaluation and implementation of human resource (HR) policies and programs and advising the Christian Center of Park City's (CCPC) Senior Leadership Team about human resources issues. Constantly strive to improve human resource processes by implementing strategies that support organizational growth, strengthen morale and employee retention, enhance a culture of safety and wellness, further build up relations with all staff personnel, foster job satisfaction, and promote CCPC's organizational values, mission and vision within the organization and the community. In addition, this role will oversee the administrative team and its daily functions.

Job Responsibilities:

Human Resources
  • Oversee the daily workflow of the HR function throughout CCPC.
  • Contribute to planning and providing perspective on HR needs to support strategic planning.
  • Manage the talent acquisition process, onboarding, and orientation processes for all new employees, while maintaining CCPC's culture.
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance, periodically review and update the CCPC Employee Handbook.
  • Work alongside and provide support for CCPC's Senior Leadership Team regarding any employment relations issues in order to seek resolution.
  • Manage employee portal entries, transactions, and reporting.
  • Monitor and administrate all Performance Management programs.
  • Administer employee benefits package, including but not limited to PTO banks, benefits enrollment, HSA, 403(b), etc.
  • Recommend HR policy and procedural changes to senior leadership and Board of Directors.
  • Perform other administrative HR duties, as assigned by the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) or Chief Operations Officer (COO).

Administrative Oversight
  • Direct and oversee the daily job function/task of the Office Coordinator.
  • Direct All Staff communication and scheduling per the CEO and COO.
  • Empower Admin Team to field all phone calls, voicemail, emails, walk-ins, etc. with hospitality, warmth, and grace, also in directing and/or retrieving appropriate information to direct customers, volunteers, donors, clients, etc.
  • Ensure the regular maintenance and cleanliness of office area, breakout rooms, and Gathering Space, keeping all areas uncluttered and profession looking.

  • Passionately live out the mission, vision, and values of the Christian Center of Park City through this role and cast that vision to our internal staff team, volunteers, clients, and to the public.
  • Must possess a high-level of honesty, integrity, ethics, and professionalism.
  • Willing to work collaboratively within a supportive team and maintain a positive and professional attitude.
  • An excellent attention to detail, procedures, processes, and policies.
  • Ability to work independently and under the direction of the CEO.
  • Foster a positive attitude toward change, accepting change with grace and excitement.
  • Excellent organizational and administrative skills, able to plan ahead and manage multiple tasks and events with confidence.

  • Minimum 2 years experience in Human Resource (generalist or specialist) required.
  • SHRM or HRCI Certification(s) preferred (i.e., PHR, SHRM-CP).
  • General knowledge of employment law and regulatory compliance issues preferred.
  • Skilled operation of variety of computer software programs, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and have a basic understanding of enterprise wide HRIS systems
  • Ability to collect, compile, and analyze information and data.
  • Strong relational, interpersonal and communication skills.

Reports to: Chief Executive Officer

Salary Range: $65k - $68k
