Job Title: Facility Manager
Reports to: The Executive Pastor
Works closely with: Office manager, Executive Pastor, Food Bank Coordinators and Volunteers
Oversees: Entire Facility
Position Status: Full Time (Hourly with benefits)
Daily Walks/Drives of the Entire Property to be aware of any problems/issues or necessary maintenance items
Coordinate Vendors during installations, repairs or maintenance
Make sure quarterly and annual maintenance agreements are up to date and service is being performed
Maintain relationships with tenants, vendors, maintenance technicians, and outside groups using our facility
Maintain good communication with our ELC director to address any maintenance issues in that part of our facility
Set-Up/Tear Down for meetings, Bible Studies, events
Ensure adherence to quality standards and health and safety regulations
Work with Cleaning Company to maintain inventory of the cleaning supplies in the facility
Scheduling of snow removal and light snow removal on walkways
Be on campus most Sunday mornings to ensure the facility is ready for guests
Assist other staff members with set up or tear down on Sundays as needed
Be an on-site support for volunteers to help keep the Food Bank running smoothly
Initially, rotate through serving on pickup, weekday morning, Wednesday night, Saturday morning, and Sunday morning teams to understand end-to-end operations and build relationships with volunteers
Be available to assist with ongoing Food Bank pickups as time allows
Help with Food Bank serving on Wednesdays and/or Saturday mornings once/month
This is an hourly position for 40 hours per week. Facilities Manager will be expected to clock hours to ensure that the FM will be get paid for all the hours worked.
Sunday is considered a work day and will likely put in about 4 hours on a normal
Sunday morning. (Ex: This could be 7am-10am. Off the clock for worship, and
then 12pm-1pm for lock up and/or set up for an event).
Monday-Thursday are generally 8 hour work days.
Other 4 hours per week are flexible- depending on the week and when/where needed. Those may be done on a Friday or Saturday, or a Wednesday
evening with the Food Bank, or may be added to a normal work days on Mon-Thursdays.
The intention is that the Facilities Manager will have 2 days off most weeks and have some flexibility with hours from week to week. (Ex: if the FM will work 45 hours one week, then next week might only work 35 hours).
