We are seeking a Lead Cook for our Evening/Night Shift to join our team!

And we are currently offering a $500 signing bonus! You will receive $250 after 30 days of employment and the remaining $250 at 90 days.
Mentor and train staff to ensure proper cooking methods and recipes are followed
Contribute as a leader of the department by supervising Commissary team and Line
Cook staff and improving operational efficiencies as needed
Observe methods of food preparation, cooking, and sizes of portions to ensure food is
Prepare and assign production and prep work for Line Cooks to complete
Breakdown workstation and complete closing duties ensuring all Line Cooks'
assignments are completed before they sign out
Reward and recognize staff for individual and team success
Make recipe or menu changes so that foods will be utilized before expiration date to
eliminate waste as much as possible
Make transition between seasonal menus three times a year
Check menus daily for any required advance preparation
Post prep sheets for catering and special event orders
Consult with Executive Chef for special events and menus
Complete weekly food inventory, orders food supplies, and ensures stock is received
and stored appropriately
Perform quality audits and specs checks, including temp checks on food items and dish
Perform daily temperature checks for coolers and products
Ensure and promote the sanitary integrity of the facility, equipment, and food products
Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
Completion of a Culinary program preferred
3+ years cooking in a professional kitchen
1+ year of proven kitchen management experience
Willingness to be flexible to work any shift including nights, weekends, overtime, and
holidays as needed
Attendance - Being on time and ready to work scheduled hours are essential job functions always
Ability to utilize technology including KDS and Microsoft Outlook and Teams
Ability to read specification books and production sheets
Must maintain above average safety and work performance standards
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment while keeping deadlines with
Must be able to effectively perform multiple tasks at one time
Must show good customer service skills at all times
Must be able to read and understand English
