Job Summary:

Maintain, control, and operate machines and equipment that are used in the manufacturing of smaller production equipment and other utility products. Position requires a commitment to quality, safety, and communication. Must follow instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision and reports to the production supervisor.

Preferred Education, Skills, and Experience:

•High school diploma or general education degree (GED).

•2-5 years of experience in the field or in a related area.

•Knowledge of 5-axis machining.

•Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within this field.

Primary Tasks:

•Carry out production, inspection, packaging, and machine operation duties.

•Ensure all materials are readily available.

•Effectively monitor production equipment.

•Assist materials handlers as necessary.

•Maintain a safe and clean workspace.

•Follow established safety rules and regulations.

•Perform other duties as assigned.

•Regularly required to stand for a period of 10 hours per day, four days a week or more.

•Use hands to manipulate, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms.

•Stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

•The employee will regularly lift and or move up to 50 pounds, frequently team lift and or move up to 100 pounds.

•Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
