CDL Driver

Reports to:

Inventory/Logistic Department Lead

Job Summary:

Perform various functions and incidental services associated with transporting materials, merchandise, and/or passengers.

Required/Preferred Education, Skills and Experience:

•High school diploma or equivalent.

•Must possess a Class A CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) and Medical Card.

•Maintain a current CDL during the period of employment.

•One-year relevant driving experience in a like or similar role.

•Ability to communicate effectively and work harmoniously with other.

Primary Tasks:

•Safely operate motor vehicles between various locations and destinations.

•Operate forklifts and general-purpose vehicles.

•Perform normal maintenance to include: inspecting vehicles and checking gas, oil, water, and related safety/maintenance, items before departure, replenishing all fluids as necessary, and fueling vehicles using an automated tracking system.

•Load/unload cargo and baggage.

•Maintain cleanliness of vehicles and work area as required.

•All other duties assigned.

Other:

May be required to work outside of regular business hours and perform on-call duties. May be required to assist with material handling functions.
