Project Assistant - Grants, Contracts & Finance Office

This person is primarily responsible for assisting with administrative tasks, conducting research, assisting in providing technical assistance to grantees, summarize and write reports, edit, and create presentations. The Program Assistant will also perform other duties such as data entry; selected administrative duties such as filing and record keeping, photocopying, creating flyers and posters, update resources and documents, assist with special projects and, other duties associated with a project.

Minimum Work Experience
1 year of relevant experience, preferably in a healthcare setting (Required)

Strong writing and organizational skills.

  • Produce reports and presentations.
  • Communicate and summarize in an effective manner.
  • Interact appropriately with grantees and families.


  • Attend meetings and other training events.
  • Maintain work schedule and reports to work on time.
  • Anticipate project needs and works to accomplish them in a timely manner.
  • Conduct literature searches effectively.


  • Speak up when team members appear to exhibit unsafe behavior or performance.
  • Continuously validate and verify information needed for decision making or documentation.
  • Stop in the face of uncertainty and takes time to resolve the situation.
  • Demonstrate accurate, clear and timely verbal and written communication.
  • Actively promote safety for patients, families, visitors and co-workers.
  • Attend carefully to important details - practicing Stop, Think, Act and Review in order to self-check behavior and performance.
