 Recruitment

SUMMARY 

Oversees program evaluation design and implementation. Created and delivers trainings and presentations to both internal and external audiences. Supervises research assistant staff work-planning and completion. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

1. Collaborates with identified staff to manage service delivery and outcome data, support and track compliance, and generate and disseminate routine and special reports. 

2. Develops quarterly and annual reports for grant requirements and senior management. Prepares other engaging and meaningful documents to facilitate effective evaluation. 

3. Oversees logic model development and evaluation design, including facilitation of outcomes/indicators discussions with program staff, assigning literature reviews and measure searches, recommendations regarding measures and data collection protocols, and composing IRB submissions.

4. Analyzes aggregate program-level data to provide input on significant performance trends and, as necessary, alternative assessment tools to measure select constructs.

5. Prepares workshops with program supervisors, directors, and VPs, to be presented at national conferences. Support research assistant staff with research poster development. 

6. Reviews manuals for selected psychometric instruments to construct databases and determines data visualization for reporting templates.

7. Prepare and manage data sharing agreements with partner agencies. Obtain needed copyright permissions from authors and publishing companies. Maintains absolute confidentiality regarding children and families in compliance with HIPAA regulations and internal policies.

 8. Supports agency staff with interpreting reports and utilizing reports for treatment planning. Guides agency executives and program directors in data-informed decision-making by designing and conducting analysis of individual and sub-group outcome variations. 

9. Co-develops proposals for external RFPs related to evaluation and other external collaboration opportunities. 

10. Collaborates with agency executives, senior management, and program supervisors to develop projects that support agency objectives and evaluation goals.

ADDITIONAL DUTIES

1. Attends team meetings to discuss department issues and develop potential research and evaluation projects.

2. Develops and maintains data entry/computer and research skills through seminars, workshops or other forms of training/education. 

 

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES 

Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the direct reports. 

Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. 

Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. 

This job supervises all Research Assistant staff.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

5 years of research experience. 

Bachelor's degree in any major from a four-year university required.  

Master's degree in social science preferred. 

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS

Possesses a valid driver's license and state-required auto insurance. 

 This position may require some travel.
