ABOUT CHICAGO PATROLMEN'S FEDERAL CREDIT UNION

Our credit union was initially formed in 1938 when members of the Chicago Patrolmen's Association decided to pool their financial resources for the betterment of all. Today, we serve police officers of all ranks from new recruits to the Superintendent of Police, as well as police family members. We serve over 38,000 members and have assets in excess of $500 million. A DAY IN THE LIFE AS A BRANCH REPRESENTATIVE

As a Branch Representative, your number one priority remains to provide members and potential members with superior customer service. You ensure that when they walk through our doors, they feel welcomed and all their sales, service, and financial needs are met. You set an example for your team that inspires them to excel in customer service and sales as well. Expanding our member base through consultative sales techniques is also one of your responsibilities as you lead your team in setting and reaching sales and service goals. Your friendly demeanor sets the tone for our frontline, and you have a good rapport with our members as well as fellow employees.

You are a problem solver who is proactive about resolving member issues. With a sense of urgency, you take ownership and accountability for member issues. With attention to detail and accuracy, you balance the ATM, and prepaid Visa cards as well as your own cash drawer. You also process member credit and debit card applications and all deposits made via the ATM. Conscientiously, you make sure that policies and procedures are followed, and appropriate records are maintained and routed properly. You get great satisfaction out of keeping our front line running smoothly.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A BRANCH REPRESENTATIVE

• At least two years of experience in a credit union or banking environment
• Ability to discuss financial decisions to determine how best to meet member needs
• Polished customer service skills
• Sales ability
• Credit score of 600+

WORK SCHEDULE

This is a full-time customer service position that typically works 37.50 hours a week in a banking environment. We are open Monday - Friday and closed weekends!
