If you're hard-working and dedicated, CCAA is an ideal place to get ahead.We are currently looking for Piano, Guitar, Voice, Bass, Drums and Violin instructors.ResponsibilitiesPlan and prepare lessons in relation to individual students' needs and examination syllabusesTeach music theory, aural skills and practical techniques to pupils entering and preparing pupils for examinationsAcquire appropriate teaching materials and resourcesMotivate pupils and encourage progressCommunicate with academic staff and parentsAssess pupils' abilities, providing feedbackQualificationsEvidence of enrollment in an accredited college/university in completing a state-approved teacher preparation program within 3 years of the date of hire or in the field experienceDemonstrable knowledge of music curriculum and the ability to implement itAbility to interact collaboratively with students, parents, and administrationExcellent oral and written skillsConfident in leading a classroom of studentsAble to pass a drug test, fingerprints, and local background checkStrong organizational skillsAble to thrive working in a team environmentJob Types: Part-time, ContractPay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hourApplication questionsYou have requested that Indeed ask candidates the following questions:How many years of Teaching experience do you have?Are you authorized to work in the following country: United States?Are you willing to undergo a background check, in accordance with local law/regulations?When are you available for an interview or phone screen?
