The General Manager will work closely with the Owners to manage staff, customer service, store conditions, merchandising, food safety, work safety, communication, training and performance management. The General Manager will ensure the store lives up to Cherry Pickin’s mission of providing an unparalleled experience, with the highest level of service and product knowledge. Our General Manager, will lead in with our company values in mind, while promoting a positive and progressive work environment.

It is our vision to expand beyond Kentucky launching pop-ups and activations as well as franchising additional brick and mortar locations around the U.S. Providing an opportunity for growth will extend to the possibility/discussion of shares in the company for a committed GM.

Responsibilities
In this role, you will be charged with creating a highly productive environment focusing on building a motivated team, ensuring an extraordinary guest experience, and balancing other corporate priorities, focusing on strategic, operational, and leadership excellence.
As the role will evolve over time, the successful candidate will show curiosity in the business, demonstrate willingness to take on new challenges, and lift our team by developing additional skills to assist and support our purpose
Enthusiastically hire, develop, and lead the team at the Cherry Pickin’ store to provide a great guest experience.
Use operational tools including, but not limited to: Toast POS and xtraChef, Appfront, Inventory Management tools, etc.
Maintain relationships with all vendors and suppliers. (inventory management, shipments, etc.)
Review store environment and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to identify problems, concerns, and opportunities for improvement and adjust accordingly as well as communicate with owners.
Manage cash activities for the store (daily deposits, etc.)
Ensure compliance with food safety guidelines at Cherry Pickin’ at all times; ensure all Team Members are in compliance as well.
Own and promote brand standards in alignment with company vision.
Ensure store appearance and cleanliness are upheld and consistent with Cherry Pickin’ brand standards
Drive implementation of company programs through action planning and inspiring team to meet operational standards
Recognize and reinforce individual and team accomplishments by using existing tools and programs as well as finding new, creative and effective methods of recognition.
Collaborate with Cherry Pickin’ owners on everything from Operations, Training, Human Resources, and Marketing to deliver the best smoothies and healthy retail products to your community
Discover and respond to customer needs
Support social and digital marketing efforts
Maintain regular and punctual attendance, fill in positions when additional staffing is needed.
A bias towards actions - you do not hesitate to roll up your sleeves and do whatever it takes to get the job done
Ability to work cross-functionally and to coordinate communication across diverse work groups
Ability to work the hours needed to run your store effectively, which might include a variety of days, evenings, weekends, holidays
Reliable transportation
Education and Experience Requirements:
High school diploma required. Associate or bachelor’s degree in business, hospitality management, or similar field is preferred.
Minimum 2 years’ experience as a manager or supervisor of a team in a restaurant or similar type of retail customer service business.
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel and Mac equivalent as well as all Google Drive products.
Ability to communicate effectively with customers, team members, and the community, both orally and in writing.
Ability to work the hours needed to run your store effectively, which might include a variety of days, evenings, weekends, holidays.
Knowledgeable of general POS functionality.
Experience with federal and state laws and statues.
ServSafe Certification.
