We are seeking a "hands-on" Facility Maintenance Manager to become a part of our team !
Maintain all Plantation buildings exterior and interior, including basic repairs to water, electrical, sewer, heating, cooling, swimming pool, and gas systems.
Perform preventive maintenance on all systems including HVAC, fire alarm, hydrants, and radio systems.
Contact and schedule vendors and contractors when necessary, after troubleshooting, for repairs.
Communicate in a professional manner to receive repair requests and coordinate repairs with department managers.
Use computer for coordinating projects, reporting and recordkeeping.
Procurement of maintenance materials and compliance with purchasing procedures.
Assure that all health and safety policies are adhered to by staff and subcontractors.
Ensure all work order and repair requests are processed in a timely fashion.
Supervise and train facilities maintenance staff.
- Budgetary, performance, and administrative reporting.
3 years previous experience in property maintenance or other related fields.
Ability to multitask and prioritize.
Communication and organization skills to coordinate projects with other Department Managers and develop staff.
Ability to be physically active and stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, and climb for extended periods.
Ability to lift and carry over 50 pounds.
Two weeks vacation the first year, 3 weeks after 5 years, 4 weeks after 10 years.
One week sick time provided each year up with roll-over up to 4 weeks.
