The Senior Program Manager will support the Headquarters Department of the Army (HQDA) Office of Deputy Chief of Staff (DCS) G-2 Information Management (IM) Directorate, otherwise known as the Department of the Army Military Intelligence - Information Management (DAMI-IM), Chief Information Officer (CIO) in this important role. DAMI-IM's mission is to transform Army Intelligence into a Net-Centric, knowledge-based community through the development of policy and management of Information Technology (IT) integration, networking, assurance, initiatives, and programs. You'll be helping achieve G-2's vision of putting intelligence into the Warfighter's hands.
The Senior Program Manager is responsible for all aspects of the development and implementation of assigned projects and provides a single POC for those projects.

The Senior Program Manager is responsible for all aspects of the development and implementation of assigned projects and provides a single POC for those projects.
Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver project plans, including but not limited to, communications plans, implementation plans, training plans, deployment plans, and sustainment plans.
- Advise senior management on how product implementation and current processes could be improved.
- Acts as a technical liaison between the IT division, key stakeholders, and technology vendors to provide technical expertise in analyzing requirements, implementation, and sustainment.
- Recommend solutions and assist engineers with the development of systems analysis, architectures, and presentations.
- Serve as a key member of the strategy team in helping to ensure success and participate in architectural discussions to ensure solutions are designed for successful deployment in the cloud.
- Take ownership of engagement and ensure timely delivery.
- Capture and share best practice knowledge among teams and the community.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Master of Arts/Science, 10+ years of experience (PMI certification required) OR
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or organizational management, with 15+ years of experience OR
- Any bachelor's degree with relevance to the work to be performed and 20+ years of related experience
- PMI-PMP or 15+ years of experience in IT Project Management and Service Delivery
- ITILv4 certification
- Active TS/SCI clearance required
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Ability to successfully manage all aspects of multiple, simultaneous large-scale IT projects, including managing requirements, cost, schedule, and performance.
- Ability to achieve the timeliness of performance for services and product deliverables and demonstrate the capability of developing efficient and effective solutions in meeting requirements, and technical/mission needs from customers/sponsors/stakeholders.
- Lead cross-functional and cross-organizational teams to meet the objectives of the project.
- Manage and review project plans to plan and coordinate project activity.
- Develop a deep understanding of business strategy and customer goals.
- Proven ability to effectively distill key program requirements, program deliverables and methodologies, and business processes into clear, concise project plans and communications.
- Use project management tools and technology to track program progress and provide regular reporting to management and other stakeholders.
- Execute projects/programs with similar requirements to the 21st Century Integrated Digital Experience Act (IDEA)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong presentation skills.
- Strong attention to deadlines and guidelines.
- Experience developing internal processes across a variety of platforms.
- Experience coaching and educating project teams to strengthen team members' capabilities and skill sets.
