Job Description

We are a specialized industrial chemical manufacturer serving the hospitality and industrial markets. We are seeking a full-time industrial chemist w/ 7 + yrs experience to join our fast pace growing company.

The Chemist will be an integral part of Research and Development by supporting new product development with the creation of new samples and conducting stability testing for new products primarily serving the industrial and hospitality markets.

The Chemist will perform analysis of various samples for composition and performance, assist in reformulating current products, review new and/or existing product formulations, verify products are formulated in compliance with applicable regulations.

  • Experience working w/ EPA, FDA, & DOT

  • Must be fluent in Spanish & English

  • Familiar writing SDS and product labels

  • Work on R&D projects according to priorities established

  • Monitor and stay ahead of industry trends

  • Assist manufacturing in solving formulation issues

  • Perform pilot batches on some experimental products

  • Test raw materials received for quality

  • Test for quality control on manufactured products

  • Development and implementation of new testing procedures

  • New raw materials validation and documentation

  • Test finished products and new developed products for performance

  • Research for new materials and technologies

  • Product recommendations to match the customers’ requirements and specifications

  • Other duties as assigned

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry

  • Minimum 7 years in Chemical manufacturing environment

  • Excellent written and communication skills
