Candidates must have at least 7 year's experience as a litigation secretary and be knowledgeable and proficient in the handling of procedures for and filing of documents in Federal Courts (nationwide), International Trade Commission as well as the Patent and Trademark Appeals Board; court filings (ECF) in United States District Courts; preparing case documents, maintaining litigation binders/logs/case files and rolodexes (case contact lists) and providing trial support; searches within PACER; calendaring litigation dates through firm's Docket Department and as well as maintain attorney trial calendars; the deposition process; document processing including identifying, marking and creating Table of Authorities and the ability to independently prioritize and manage multiple tasks while satisfactorily meeting deadlines and desired outcomes. A familiarity with Inter Parte Reviews (“IPRs”) is desirable. In order to be successful in this role, candidates must possess excellent communication skills (both orally and in writing); exhibit confidence in carrying out their litigation responsibilities and maintain absolute confidentiality regarding discussions, records, files, documents and information. Overtime will be required, occasionally on short notice. Professional presentation and demeanor is required at all times. The ideal candidate will have strong MS office skills; excellent communication, proofreading and phone skills; and extraordinary attention to detail. College degree preferred.
