CBHC is for you!Crisis Services Director Full Time w/generous benefitsLocation: Punta GordaPLEASE NOTE: Actively interviewing; Candidates will need the ability to interview remotely online, along with a remote pre-hire processing.Position SummaryThis is a full-time, exempt-level senior management position which provides program development and oversight over the day-to-day administration of a thirty (30) bed CrisisStabilization Unit/Addiction Receiving Facility (CSU/ARF) and a sixteen (16) bed Recovery Center (RC) Detox and Residential programs.
This position also oversees all requirements and staff of residential Utilization Management for both residential programs. This position develops, manages and maintains allphases of Crisis Services and ensures that the program meets all internal and external standards, providing oversight of the day to day management as well as budget management. Staff includes licensed therapists, RN's, LPN's, behavioral health technicians, interns, and support staff providing around the clock to support the safety and stabilization of individuals in an acute mental health crisis who are a danger to themselves or others because of their mental illness.Minimum Requirements Master's degree(s) from an accredited college or university with major coursework in Business Administration or related field.Must possess a Florida license that is in good standing in one of the following professions: Clinical Social Worker; Marriage and Family Therapist, Mental Health Counselor, Psychiatrist, Registered Nurse, or Psychologist.MUST BE LICENSED TO BAKER ACT PATIENTS.
Employee possesses ability to evaluate patient needs; ability to work effectively with staff, patients, and community agencies. Employee has thorough knowledge of rules and regulations (including Florida's Mental Health Act and 65D-30) pertaining to the care and treatment of persons with psychiatric or phase of life problems, including overall treatment concepts and objectives.Must have ability to manage personnel, plan programs, and manage budget. Must have excellent people skills, with an ability to partner with a dynamic leadership team.
Experience with quality improvement activities.Proficient computer skills, MS Office. Ability to sit, stand, walk for periods of time; manual dexterity to use office equipment.Must have strong clinical skills and experience providing treatment to persons with severe and persistent mental illnesses.Work ResponsibilitiesEstablishes, administers, and directs departments dedicated to crisis services, intervention and patient mental health related to Crisis Services.Oversees Budget/Fiscal Management, including but not limited to payroll, productivity, reports and departmental budget management and health.Responsible for quality improvement and overall management performance.Supervises and evaluates the unit census and motivates teams to ensure service excel
