policy organization for the world's leading innovation companies. The Information Technology Industry Council
(ITI) is seeking a Director of Marketing and Membership to join its growing
team in Washington, DC. As the Director
of Marketing and Membership, you will set the strategic direction for ITI’s
brand awareness and membership activities including membership outreach,
recruitment, and retention as well as advertising and promotional activities,
research, and market expansion. You will
also oversee the vision for and operations of membership programs and delivery
of member services and partner with member companies to determine their needs
and priorities from the organization.
- Create innovative
ways to engage and increase visibility of ITI’s advocacy work.
- Lead marketing
strategy for all ITI programs and events, products, and services to drive the
brand awareness of ITI and its mission.
- Oversee the
production of all marketing materials to communicate the value proposition of
ITI membership to internal and external stakeholders.
- Oversee development
of the ITI website as a leading resource for the technology industry.
- Lead all
association member recruitment activities to achieve annual member recruitment
and budgetary goals.
- Lead and facilitate
member research and survey activities that enable the identification of new and
enhanced offerings for ITI members.
- Partner with the
finance department on membership dues billing, renewal processes, and follow-up
collection efforts including conducting phone calls, developing talking points,
and gathering data from this effort to inform future activities.
- Oversee the
membership onboarding process to maximize efficiency and member engagement.
- Create and oversee
a year-round, actionable membership retention.
- Develop and
facilitate an exit interview process for all member cancellations.
- Direct the
implementation and execution of marketing and membership service policies and
opportunities to expand ITI’s presence through extensive outreach to both new
and existing member companies and association groups.
Qualified candidates will possess a Bachelor’s degree in
Marketing, Communications, or related field plus a minimum of ten years of
experience in a marketing and/or membership position and at least five years of
experience in a management role. ITI is
seeking candidates with proven leadership experience in a non-profit
organization/association and demonstratable experience designing and
implementing successful marketing campaigns. Experience with digital marketing tools, software, and techniques is
Green Card or
