Investment Accounting Manager (LS)

Job Description:

· Manage day-to-day accounting matters, month-end close process

· Prepare, review and maintain a variety of investment types

· Perform monthly close, analytical review of monthly operating results and accounting workbooks

· Develop and review accretion calculations, monthly accruals, monthly and quarterly reporting

· Prepare, review and understand deal documents

· Prepare, review and monitor consolidation/elimination entries

· Prepare supporting schedules

· Assist with 10-K/10-Q tie out

· Review and monitor contribution, distribution, and loan draw

· Assist with accounting system maintenance and implementation

· Prepare the company’s annual budget, monitor operating results and update forecasts

· Coordinate with internal and external auditors

Requirements:

· CPA license

· Public/Big 4 accounting experience

· Experience in the financial services, real estate or related industries

· Strong knowledge of GAAP

· Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills

· Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills

· Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills

· Able to work independently and take initiative

· Able to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and efficiency while meeting deadlines

· Able to adapt to changing priorities

· Detail-oriented

· A team player

· Strong work ethic

Experience:

· Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field and a minimum of 5 years' relevant experience
