Job Title: Bilingual Accounting Internship - English-Spanish (Unpaid)

Program: Finance

Status: Part –Time / Temporary

Location: Washington, DC

Reports to: Lead Accountant

Job Summary:

The Accounting intern will work together with the Lead Accountant providing support for Accounts Payable. The internship program will provide the student with relevant skills in a variety of accounting functions via on-the-job training.

Essential responsibilities:

  • Assemble and file invoices
  • Enter and upload invoices into system
  • Assist with month end closing
  • Assisting with research, filing, data entry, and recording and maintaining accurate and complete financial records.
  • Handling sensitive or confidential information with honesty and integrity.
  • Taking on additional tasks or projects to learn more about accounting and office operations.

Key Qualifications – Required experience and education

  • Must be actively enrolled in an undergraduate Accounting program, or related field.
  • Basic understanding of financial and accounting principles
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Attention to detail
  • Aptitude for mathematics

Expected Work hours:

A maximum of 25 hours a week.


No traveling is expected for this position.
