Job Description

Centrica Care Navigators is adding an Administrative Assistant to their Billing team! The Administrative Assistant - Billing will provide general administrative support to the Finance Department; which will include clerical and project based work. This exciting role is a full time benefited position, that will work at our Corporate Office on Stadium drive from 8:00am - 4:30pm, Monday through Friday.

  1. Processes Medicare and Medicaid election and/or enrollment records in a timely manner.
  2. Data entry of Medicaid claims into the CHAMPS billing system on a monthly and as needed basis.
  3. Assist in the mailing of client statements and noting accounts within the EMR system.
  4. Audit and accurately data entry physician visits into the EMR system on a weekly and as needed basis.
  5. Assist with the processing of checks to Nursing Homes as well as update of excel spreadsheets for individual clients.
  6. Monthly census reports to various vendors as required by agency contract.
  7. Assist with the processing of statements for the agency Adult Day program.


  1. High School graduate or equivalent
  2. Two years of office administrative experience, medical office experience preferred.
  3. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  4. Multi-line phone and general office equipment experience required.
  5. Maintains a valid Michigan driver's license and has the availability of a reliable, licensed and insured vehicle for use on the job, vehicle must be insured in accordance with the State of Michigan.
  6. Remains up-to-date on all routine immunizations required by LARA and agency policy. Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
