Duties for This Position

The Home Health RN provides nursing care to patients/clients as requested by the patient/client and, when required, as prescribed by the physician and in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and organizational policy. By seeking and obtaining sufficient information to function effectively, the Home Health RN will supervise and coordinate all patient care within nursing and between departments and provide the highest standard of care in meeting the needs, conditions, and care of the patient population.

Education Requirements

Graduate of accredited School of Nursing.

Certification, Registration, or Licensure

Current Utah R.N. license, current CPR

Experience

One year experience preferred

Required Skills

Strong written and verbal communication capabilities. Excellent organizational skills. Flexibility in a demanding environment and ability to prioritize utilizing good judgment. Flexibility in scheduling i.e. nights, weekends, holidays.

Central Valley Medical Center is a 25 bed, critical access hospital nestled at the foot of beautiful Mt. Nebo in Nephi, Utah. The hospital was established in the 1950’s as a county hospital. Since 1981, under the direction of current CEO, Mark Stoddard and Rural Health Management Group, the organization has grown substantially. In 2000, a new state-of-the-art building was completed in its current location. During the 20 years since moving to the new facility, there have been six major expansions. The sixth expansion was completed in July of 2020..
Services provided by the hospital include: cardiopulmonary, diagnostic imaging, including MRI, emergency department, home health and hospice, laboratory, labor and delivery, nursing services, physical and occupational therapy, mental health, surgical services, including orthopedic surgery, pharmacy, and a clinic with 29 exam rooms.
