A Central Texas manufacturing company seeks a full-time Accounting Manager.
Duties will include, but not limited to, producing accurate and timely financial statements, developing appropriate procedures and controls for financial reporting, supervision and guidance for accounting assistant staff members, learning and managing the accounting system, reconciling cash and credit card accounts, producing management reports as requested, prepare lender and insurance compliance reporting, sales tax reporting, property tax reporting, production tax reporting, analyzing business data and making recommendations for improvements, working with vendors and customers pertaining to accounting matters, analyzing balance sheet accounts, assisting with the annual budget, budget process and cash management, payroll processing along with managing 401k payments and reports, and other human resource documentations and reports. It will be essential to timely produce accurate month, quarter and year-end reports as well as perform duties associated with those time periods.
The position will assist and work with the President and Chief Financial Officer on all accounting and financial projects as directed and requested.
Must have strong skills in organization, accuracy, timeliness and punctuality. References and relevant accounting experience of 5-10 years. Knowledge of Microsoft Excel. Ability to smoothly multi-task will be helpful.
