Certified Medical Assistant

A busy medical office practice in Princeton, NJ is seeking a certified medical assistant for either a full time or a part time position. Candidate must have experience with EMR and must hold a current license as a CMA or RMA. Work experience is a plus.

Job duties include:

· assisting physician with patient care,

· patient check-in/out,

· assisting physician with minor patient procedures,

· verifying insurance,

· prior authorizations,

· EKGs,

· patient vital signs,

· monitoring/ordering supplies,

· vaccine administration,

· phlebotomy, labs,

· scheduling appointments,

· triaging, and phone calls,

· participate in patient education seminars and meetings,

· the ability to maintain team efficiency,

· follows Practice protocols for handling of all patients,

· effective and clear communication,

· create a positive working environment with all staff,
