The Contracts Manger job position is fundamental to the overall strength of the business. The position will contribute to the stability and development of the Company by drafting and maintaining the Companies contracts.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Build, review and edit sales, vendor and other commercial agreements.
Assist in management and maintenance of company's standard contract templates, and management of the company's internal contract management tools and software.
Provide legal support in the areas of contract drafting and negotiations, legal and policy compliance review, contract administration and process management, and other legal matters that arise.
Manage and meet aggressive internal MBOs, and help balance priorities..
Experience in collaborating with multiple partners and internal teams such as legal, risk, and compliance to tackle business problems in a fast-paced environment.
Direct involvement with M&A planning, execution, and outcomes, implementation of product and business development, intellectual property matters in order to meet expansion expectations organically and through acquisition.
Perform moderately complex to complex legal, compliance and transactional research and analysis, and relative to such research and analysis, make recommendations as to the degree of risk to CCA, and communicate or escalate significant risks and issues, with recommendations for action, to Legal Senior Management.
Draft, formulate and implement corporate legal policy concerning a variety of issues.
Display credibility with business leaders, legislative bodies, supervisory authorities and government agencies on behalf of CCA and the greater industry.

EDUCATION, WORK EXPERIENCE AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
4+ years in the contracts management, or related role
Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) with JD or paralegal degree preferred
Experience with contract and corporate management software
Knowledge and practical use of Microsoft Office systems (i.e., MS Word, Excel, Power Point, and other MS Tools) or Google Suite
Advanced math and data-analytic skills
Proficiency of the English language, verbal and written format
Must possess and maintain a valid California Driver License, and meet requirements for insurability under the Company’s policy
Functional knowledge of California cannabis regulations
Knowledge of CARTA
