Salary: 50,000-60,000

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Digital Marketing Manager is responsible for creating a variety of content in support of the organization’s marketing strategy with an emphasis on video production, graphic design and social media. Central City Opera (CCO) seeks someone who is passionate about the performing arts and will be driven to inform and engage with our community.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
 Support all Marketing and Box Office efforts to reach ticket revenue and strategic goals.
 Create engaging and persuasive digital marketing content reflecting the company’s brand voice to ultimately drive audience engagement and action.
 Collaborate cross-functionally with the marketing, artistic, development, and education departments to curate social media content, design graphics for digital use, and produce and edit social media and web-based videos.
 Manage all email marketing with guidance from Director and Marketing team.
 Produce and edit summer festival podcast by interviewing production staff, cast and directors
 Update website content while factoring in SEO/SEM best practices.
 Track web engagement analytics with monthly reporting.
 Manage digital content hubs and all supporting social media channels. Must understand the basic best practices of the main social media platforms while continuing to research new and upcoming social media trends.
 Research, recommend, and assist in implementation of marketing and communication strategies to increase audience reach and engagement.
 Provide media relations, editorial and proofreading support as needed.
 Assist Technical Director with audio/visual displays at internal and external events.
 Champion inclusion, diversity, equity, access, and belonging through messaging.
 Attend cross-departmental meetings and facilitate clear communication and aligned tactics.
 Represent CCO at performances, community engagements, and other special events.

QUALIFICATIONS:
 Undergraduate degree in marketing, communications, broadcast journalism, or relevant field. Equivalent work experience applies
 3-5 years of experience preferred
 Appreciation of opera, theater, music, and/or the performing arts
 Exceptional written communication
 Excellent planning and project management skills
 Experience with video editing and filming; photography skills a plus
 Experience with social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter)
 Experience with graphic design programs (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva)
 Strong email marketing experience (MailChimp or DotDigital experience preferred)
 Website content experience a plus (Wordpress, Google Analytics, Google AdWords, etc.)
 Strong computer skills, including MS Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
